Digital Painting Class - A3 - Universe

This is my favorite School Assignment so far. I like the colors, I like the composition, and I like the concept. Mr Universe as the governing power of the universe! With composition being my prime goal in this I see it as a success and became eager to see if I could have equal success with a flesh tone and earth bound figures. I also feel I could make my characters a little more recognizable.

Mr Universe in all his cosmic glory!

This is at about the halfway mark

Digital Painting Class - A2 - Retro

I felt this drawing was a bit weaker than the last ... though I kinda like the city-scape and the engine lightning stuff! It was suppose to be something retro which evolved in my mind to mean retro flying cars having a mobster shoot-out. After turning this in I really felt I should focus on composition in the next drawing.

Digital Painting Class - A1 - Voyage

The topic for my first week of class was Voyage. I really like the tone of this picture and I like how the two guards turned out. I wanted to do something of a space airport scene and decided some not-so-subtle propaganda posters would go well with it. There are quite a few jokes hidden in the flight names and numbers ... that was fun to do.

Alice in Wonderland Character Art - Pen and Marker

After the Cheshire Cat and the Walrus I felt inclined to do more characters from Lewis Carol's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There. I particularly like of these the White Rabbit and Blue Caterpillar. Bill the Lizard was fun do largely to his odd nature and unpopularity.

Recent Pen and Marker Sketches

The above were all from the last two weeks of Sketch Dailies and represent all but the very first of my pen / Marker attempts.

These last two were just for fun. I always thought the Cheshire Cat was one of the creepiest charterers I have ever seen / read and wanted to try my had at drawing it. The second is based off one of my wife's three favorite insults - calling people a walrus. Maybe the other two insults will become pictures soon too ...

Griz and Zigg

I had an idea for a sci-fi cartoon story ... thise is one of the main charecters as he has visually developed so far. His name - Grizwald Thelodeus.

Robotnic is Pathetic

I thought it would be funny to show a to-scale picture of Robotnic being bested by a hedgehog.

I really enjoyed working on Robotnic's mustache but I didn't do the the best on making the

Action in the drawing make sense, and I still need a lot of work on my  digital painting.
